The original extreme sport of fencing is alive in Rome, Georgia.

In 1998, fencers participating in both competitive and recreational epee and foil founded the Rome Fencing Club.

Today, the club is locally coached, with fencers participating in weekly classes and individual lessons targeted toward the weapon of epee.
